It’s not a good idea to lie about your past on any job application. A lot of times, you can overcome a short-coming in your history, by being open and honest. If you hide a felony, and the background check uncovers it that might be automatic disqualification from employment.

If you’re asked about your past in an interview, be honest. Take responsibility. You could say something like, “this felony happened in my past, I’ve successfully rehabilitated myself, and I’m looking to make the most with my second chance.”
